This policy explains what information GradeDuck (gradeduck.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. GradeDuck is operated by Matias Mardones. Questions: hello@gradeduck.com.
The grades you type
Every calculator runs in your browser. The grades, credits, and GPAs you enter are not sent to GradeDuck or to anyone else. To keep your inputs between visits, they are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. You can remove them with each calculator’s Clear button or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Information collected automatically
GradeDuck is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, and may keep it in security and performance logs. GradeDuck may use privacy-focused traffic statistics that count page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Advertising
GradeDuck is funded by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure results. These cookies may be used to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ad Settings.
- You can learn more about how Google uses data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Before ads are shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, those visitors are asked for consent through a consent message certified by Google, and personalized advertising cookies are only used if they agree.
Children
GradeDuck is written for high school and college students, parents and teachers, and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because calculator inputs stay on your device, using the calculators does not require sharing any personal information.
Emails you send
If you email GradeDuck, your message and email address are used only to reply to you and are not shared or sold.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access or delete personal information held about you. Since GradeDuck does not keep accounts or store your calculator inputs, there is usually nothing to delete on our side. For email correspondence, write to the address above.
